Apparently, stigma has served to impact negatively those with health and addiction issues. On that note, through the discrimination and the isolation of people on the basis of an attribute or a character, less attention has been drawn towards this particularly vulnerable groups thus promoting their demise in terms of health as a result of addiction, for instance, alcoholism and drug-related addictions and the development of stress-related issues.
